Brass Castor Round Shallow Cup with Threaded Bolt - For the standard size castor, 32mm diameter wheel, 38mm internal diameter across the top of the cup. Total height from the bottom of the wheel to the top of the cup is 40mm. Approximately 25mm of the threaded bolt passes through the wheel and cup, so for example, a 100mm threaded bolt would protrude from the top of the cup approximately 75mm. Includes a threaded bolt at the length of your choice. Any length can be manufactured, please contact us if you need a different length than those shown. For the extra large size castor, 45mm diameter wheel, 54mm internal diameter across the top of the cup. Total height from the bottom of the wheel to the top of the cup is 65mm. Approximately 35mm of the threaded bolt passes through the wheel and cup, so for example, a 100mm threaded bolt would protrude from the top of the cup approximately 65mm. Includes a threaded bolt at the length of your choice. Any length can be manufactured.

The castors with a threaded bolt (often described as a dowel screw or hanger bolt) are used with furniture legs to make industry standard furniture legs with castors, with the bolt passing all the way through the castor, castor cup and furniture leg to create strong, quality furniture legs with castors, capable of taking heavy weights. These castors can also be fitted directly to furniture if preferred. Please select 8mm bolt in the first drop down box, or you may prefer 5/16. Any length of bolt can be made for you, but the most common lengths are shown in the second drop down box.
