  Material:
  • Power screwdriver
  • Measuring tape
  • Pencil
  • Wood stain of choice
  • Clear coat finish for wood
  • Paintbrush or cloth for staining
  • 80 and 120 grit sandpaper
  • Wood screws
  • Hairpin legs
Tutorial: Step 1: Sand your tabletop really well including the sides which will be fairly rough. Step 2: Stain your tabletop with a brush or cloth as desired. Step 3: Lightly sand the table top with 120 grit sandpaper, wipe away the sawdust and apply a clear coat. Step 4: Once your table top is entirely dry and finished, measure out a square on the underside of the table top, for your leg placement. You don't want your legs too close to the edge or too close to the centre. With the tabletop face down on a clean surface screw the legs in.   Hairpin-Leg-Coffee-Table
